After successful conduct of 4th Conference on Sustainability in Civil Engineering in 2022, the Department of Civil Engineering at Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan is pleased to announce its 5th Conference on Sustainability in Civil Engineering 2023 on August 3rd,2023. Capital University of Science & Technology (CUST) Islamabad Pakistan was established in 1998 as Islamabad Campus of Mohammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU) Karachi and achieved its recognition in the country and abroad by maintaining excellent academic standards. CUST is a comprehensive Institution which have faculties including Engineering, Medicines, Natural Sciences, Management, Computing, Humanities and Arts. Faculty of Engineering has three Departments: Electrical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The Department of Civil Engineering is dedicated to produce quality professional engineers with abilities to design, manage and operate Civil Engineering based fields. It is due to quality education that Capital University of Science and Technology has achieved the honour for being among top few Pakistani universities and the first among private institutions whose BS Civil Engineering Program is accredited on Outcome Based Assessment (OBA) by Pakistan Engineering Council. He is the director of Regional Centre for Water Technologies & Trans-boundary Issues (RCWTTI). His experience includes water resources management, water resources engineering, engineering hydrology, and construction project management. He did his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with specialization in Applied Hydrology from the Charles Sturt University (CSU), New South Wales, Australia.

Dr. Anwar Khitab is working in the field of Structural Engineering and is currently affiliated with the Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST). He was ex-dean Faculty of Engineering at MUST. All the papers will undergo peer review process. It is advised to strictly follow the template to avoid any inconvenience to the respected authors during review process. Plagiarism policy (i.e. overall and single source similarities less than 20% and 5%, respectively) should be followed strictly. Authors are requested to submit signed Declaration Forms in the prescribed format along with their final submission before registration. Paper template and copyright form are available at conference website i.e. csce.cust.edu.pk. The oral & poster presentation guidelines will be communicated through paper acceptance email. All accepted papers will be included in ISBN proceedings.
